Lead the course EDPS 693.09 – Trauma and Resilience in Children at the University of Calgary. This online and on-campus role requires expertise in trauma and effective teaching methodologies.
The University of Calgary is seeking a Sessional Instructor for a 12-month term. You will teach graduate students about trauma's impact on children, focusing on strength-based interventions and school-community partnerships. The course will run from August 24 to December 18, 2026, and requires demonstrated experience in online education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach EDPS 693.09 online and on-campus
• Deliver course content from August to December 2026
• Develop instructional materials for students
• Foster a collaborative learning environment
• Assess and support student learning outcomes
Requirements:
• PhD or EdD in psychology or related field
• Experience in online/distance education
• Proven teaching effectiveness
• Registration as a psychologist
• Understanding of Educational Psychology programs
