Position: Online Language Instructor for Newcomers
Join S.U.C.C.E.S.S. as an Online Language Instructor, delivering English language services to newcomers through evening classes. Utilize your teaching skills to create impactful lessons and foster community connections.

This permanent part-time role involves teaching English based on Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB). The position requires developing engaging lesson plans and offering resources, including field trips and guest speakers, to enhance student experience. You will also track student progress within a diverse and inclusive framework, ensuring that every learner feels supported.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop daily lesson plans tailored for newcomers

• Create long-term unit plans aligned with CLB

• Teach classes per IRCC Language Training Outcomes

• Maintain attendance and progress records

• Engage students to facilitate meaningful discussions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education preferred

• TESL Canada/TESOL certified or equivalent

• 600+ hours of English Language teaching experience

• Minimum 1 year of adult teaching experience

• Knowledge of CLB-based language programs
