Position: Remote Sensing Sessional Lecturer Role

This position entails teaching Environmental Remote Sensing (GGR
337H5F) from September 1 to December 30, 2026, for a class of around 90 students. You will be responsible for conducting instructional sessions, developing assessments, and guiding teaching assistants, focusing on fundamental concepts like surface-energy interactions and image analysis. A Ph.D. in Geomatics along with prior experience in teaching similar courses will enhance your application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design interactive course content and lectures

• Administer assessments and assign grades

• Organize office hours for student support

• Supervise teaching assistants during the course

• Procure necessary course readings and materials

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Geomatics or related field

• Proficiency in ErDAS and ArcGIS Pro

• Relevant prior teaching experience

• Prefer a rank of Sessional Lecturer II or III

• Knowledge of remote sensing methodologies
