Are you passionate about nurturing the next generation of childcare professionals? Do you have a strong commitment to providing high-quality education? Train Alberta is seeking dedicated, experienced instructors to join our team and teach Early Childhood Education courses. Our programs are instructor-led, delivered virtually and are offered on two or three weekday evenings and on alternate Saturdays.
Responsibilities- Teach courses in Early Childhood Education to students enrolled in our Certificate and Diploma programs.
- Engage and support students in an interactive, virtual learning environment.
- Facilitate discussions, answer questions, and provide timely feedback on assignments and exams.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student success.
- At least 5 years of experience working in a childcare setting.
- University degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience teaching in a virtual environment and using online learning platforms.
- Early Childhood Education certification (Level 3 as recognized by the Alberta Government).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- If you do not meet all requirements, you may be considered for a Practicum Instructor opportunity.
- Education:
Bachelor's Degree (required). - Experience:
childcare setting – 5 years (required). - Licence/Certification:
Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification (required). - Work Location:
Remote.
