Data Scientist
We are looking for young talent willing to combine writing their thesis with working as a student assistant in one of our departments. We firmly believe that this combination provides the candidate with the best opportunity to experience what working for Ortec Finance is like. The length of this program is typically 7 months but can be tailored to the candidate's preferences.
During the application process, R&D Labs will explore relevant quantitative thesis topics to work on during your internship. In addition, based on your ambitions and interests, we match you to one or more departments to work for us as a student assistant. Starting dates are flexible, with the earliest possible start in September 2026.
- who are creative;
- who like problem solving;
- who are able to bring theory into practice.
And, preferably with expertise in one of the following areas:
- Quantitative Finance/Econometrics
- Applied mathematics
- Computer Science
- Other quantitative studies
This position is only open to students that are in their last stage of their Master of Science (MSc).
