The Ootsider CIC needs a remote Volunteer Grant Writer to secure vital funding for our purpose‑built sleeping coats for rough sleepers. Just 8 hours a month can provide warmth and dignity to those who need it most. Join us!

• Ultimate Flexibility:
  This role is 100% remote. Work from wherever you are comfortable, whenever suits you best.
• Low Time, High Impact:
  We’re looking for just 8 hours a month (approx. 2 hours a week). It easily fits around a full‑time job, studies, or retirement.
• Direct, Tangible Impact:
  Every successful grant you write translates directly into more sleeping coats manufactured right here in Scotland and delivered to people who need them most, so you will see the direct result of your hard work.

• A Passion for the Cause:
  You care about tackling homelessness and believe in the power of social enterprise.
• Strong Writing
  
  Skills:
  
  You can write clearly, persuasively, and concisely to meet strict word counts.
• Independence:
  You are comfortable working on your own initiative, managing your 8 hours a month effectively.
• Experience:
  
  Have at least 3 years experience with Scottish grant‑making bodies or CIC funding, professional writing, bid creation, or corporate fundraising.

• Craft Compelling Bids:
