Sen Teaching Assistant

Location: Redcliffe

We are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Chelsea SW10, who are looking for a SEN TA to support a child in Reception with medical needs (seizures and mobility issues) on a full-time, long-term basis.

You will be based in the school from 8.30am-12pm then in the home of the child in the afternoon to 3.30pm.

Role: SEN TA – child in Reception – school AND home based

Contract:

Full‑time, term time only, for one year initially

The Role:

* Provide one-to-one support for a Reception pupil with SEND in both classroom and home settings.

* Adapt learning activities and resources to meet EHCP targets and individual learning needs.

* Deliver targeted interventions to develop communication, early literacy, numeracy and independence.

* Implemented behaviour support, sensory regulation and AAC strategies to promote engagement.

* Worked collaboratively with teachers, therapists and parents to ensure consistent support and positive outcomes..

About You:

* Experience working with children with SEN within Early Years

* A warm, patient, and nurturing approach.

* Good communication and teamwork skills.

* Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and families.

* Understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
