Education Administration, Academic
You've built and championed a transformative academic vision and delivered measurable results. You've led with conviction rather than from the sidelines. In learning science, you're not experimenting—you've created proven systems, secured outcomes that validate your approach, and earned credibility to share that work publicly. If this describes your track record, 2 Hour Learning is seeking its academic leader.
2 Hour Learning operates on a model that enables students to learn twice as fast within just two hours daily. This is achieved through AI-driven tutoring, mastery-based progression, and a fundamental reimagining of traditional classroom frameworks. The impact is measurable. We now need a leader who will align execution across varied school environments, elevate academic leadership standards, and serve as the public advocate for a movement rooted in evidence-based learning science.
This role is not theoretical. It is a leadership imperative. You will direct academic strategy in action, establish rigorous standards, surface execution shortfalls, and guide high-performing teams toward tangible outcomes. You'll convert our scientific underpinnings into operational rigor and advocate for this model on a global stage.
What You Will Be Doing
- Designing academic frameworks that operationalize learning science for curriculum development, motivational architecture, and application design.
- Conducting academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and result delivery across school teams.
- Integrating data, stakeholder interviews, and direct observation into comprehensive academic ecosystem assessments that identify high-impact obstacles to accelerated learning and recommend targeted interventions.
- Ensuring strategic coherence through planning cycles, continuous feedback, and milestone monitoring to sustain focus on student achievement objectives.
- Serving as the principal representative of 2 Hour Learning in high-profile settings—from keynote presentations to engagements with Ministries of Education—advancing systemic transformation in global education paradigms.
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Engaging in isolated curriculum initiatives that fail to generate systemic impact.
- Producing theoretical research disconnected from measurable student outcomes or operational execution.
- Transferring performance oversight to middle management or external consultants.
- Depending on institutional reputation or abstract theory to influence skeptical decision-makers.
Basic Requirements
- Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- At least 7 years in academic or EdTech leadership roles, leading a team of staff/employees (not an informal peer leader role, such as grade-level lead); responsible for hiring, monitoring performance, coaching, and making termination decisions.
- Experience driving learning outcomes for students and upholding student performance standards.
- Experience applying AI or emerging technologies to improve education, such as through personalized learning, adaptive learning, AI agents, etc.
- Experience managing academic teams of 50+ people (e.g., the teams you managed directly executed curriculum, instruction, or assessment).
- Experience interacting directly with students, teachers, or school leaders in a professional setting.
