Teacher of Maths

Optimistic Equity Kindness Innovation Collaboration Derby College Group (DCG) are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Maths Teacher to join our Cross-College delivery team, supporting learners across both GCSE and Functional Skills Maths. The Opportunity As a valued member of our Maths team, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning to our 1619 cohort. Youll primarily teach GCSE Maths, with some delivery of Functional Skills Maths, supporting students from a wide range of educational backgrounds. Effective behaviour management strategies and a supportive teaching approach are essential, as your work will span across multiple curriculum areas.

You will hold a degree in Maths, along with a recognised Level 5 or Level 6 teaching qualification such as a PGCE or Cert Ed, or be working towards completing this.

Experience in teaching GCSE Maths is essential, and experience delivering Functional Skills Maths is desirable.
