Chef Lecturer

Salary: £34,000–£36,000 per annum
Contract:
Full Time, Permanent
Think FE is working with a well-established and highly regarded college in Essex to recruit a passionate Chef Lecturer to deliver City & Guilds Level 2 Culinary programmes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive department where you'll benefit from a healthy work‑life balance, including 23 hours of teaching per week and Fridays working from home.
Responsibilities- Deliver City & Guilds Level 2 Culinary programmes
- Plan and deliver engaging practical and theory sessions
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
- Support students to achieve their qualifications and career goals
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative teaching team
- Experience teaching within Further Education
- Experience teaching and assessing qualifications
- Experience delivering culinary or professional cookery programmes
- A passion for developing learners and helping them succeed
- Permanent, full‑time position
- Salary of £34,000–£36,000
- 23 teaching hours per week
- Fridays working from home
