The community is remote‑first, allowing students and mentors to collaborate online from any location in the region.

Role Description

The ACCA Mentor role at PeerME is a part‑time, remote position focused on guiding ACCA students through their exam preparation and early career decisions. In this role, the mentor will conduct virtual mentoring sessions, answer questions related to ACCA papers and study strategies, and provide feedback on students’ learning plans. The mentor will help learners understand key accounting and finance concepts, share exam techniques, and recommend relevant resources and tools.

Day‑to‑day activities include engaging in online discussions, hosting small group sessions or webinars, and maintaining regular communication with assigned mentees. The mentor will also collaborate with the PeerME team to improve community content, identify common student challenges, and help shape supportive initiatives for ACCA candidates.

Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of ACCA syllabus and exam structure, with proven success in completing ACCA papers or holding ACCA membership.
  • Ability to explain complex accounting and finance concepts in clear, accessible language for diverse learners.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills to guide, encourage, and support students in a respectful, inclusive manner.
  • Comfort with remote work tools and online collaboration platforms, including video conferencing and community forums.
  • Experience in mentoring, tutoring, teaching, or coaching in an academic or professional setting is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with challenges facing ACCA students in the Middle East and interest in contributing to a supportive regional community.
  • Strong organizational skills and reliability, with the ability to commit to regular part‑time mentoring hours.
  • Professional ethics and integrity, aligned with ACCA standards and PeerME’s commitment to non‑discriminatory, inclusive practices.
