The University is searching for qualified instructors with an MA in East Asian Culture or a closely related field. Conduct 12 online classes on Tuesday evenings, fostering a collaborative environment for around 40 students. This contract runs from August 17, 2026, until January 25, 2027, with a pay rate of $6,655.00.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead online synchronous sessions effectively
• Assess and provide feedback to students
• Develop engaging course materials and resources
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere
• Participate in meetings and training sessions
Requirements:
• MA in East Asian Culture or equivalent required
• Previous experience with online teaching is beneficial
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work with diverse student populations
• Commitment to fostering an equitable learning space
