Are you passionate about the future of AI and digital innovation in Creative Industries? The Manchester College and UCEN Manchester are seeking a forward-thinking Specialist Practitioner in AI
- Creative Industries (i.e. Curriculum Innovation Specialist) to help lead how we respond to emerging technologies, evolving workforce demands, and the rapidly changing digital landscape within AI.

The Manchester College and UCEN Manchester have been awarded Digital Technical Excellence College Status (Digi Tec). This initiative is designed to act as a regional centre of excellence for digital and technical education, supporting economic growth, productivity, and workforce development in priority sectors including AI and Cyber Security.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our new Digital Technical Excellence College initiative as a Curriculum Innovation Specialist in AI
- Creative Industries. This is a 3-year fixed term role, working on a part-time (17.5 hours per week), hybrid basis between home and our Openshaw campus.

Working closely with teachers across Further Education colleges in Greater Manchester, Liverpool City Region, Lancashire and Yorkshire, as well as employers and other key stakeholders, you will lead on:

  • Professional development for teaching staff
  • Sharing best practice across partner colleges
  • Curriculum innovation and pedagogical development
  • Supporting employers in the Creative Sector to adopt new technologies
  • Work with employers in the Creative Sector to co-design curriculum content.
