Language Assessment Lead Instructor - Remote

Join YW Calgary Hub as a Lead Instructor focused on PBLA. This role blends online teaching and leadership to support language education for newcomers.

The PBLA Lead Instructor is key to delivering both effective classroom instruction and peer mentoring. Committing to 15 hours online and 5 hours in a lead training capacity, you'll ensure that educational practices align with the Portfolio Based Language Assessment model. Coach instructors and drive continuous quality improvement while enriching learner experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead PBLA implementation throughout the program

• Coach instructors on language assessment practices

• Ensure compliance with PBLA standards

• Collaborate on instructional resource development

• Act as a liaison for instructional support

Requirements:

• Proven classroom teaching experience

• Proficiency in assessment techniques

• Familiarity with digital learning tools

• Ability to provide trauma-informed support
