Salary: £37,211 - £41,518 FTE per annum (Pro-rata amount for 30 hours per week across 7-months: £17,599 - £19,636) - Additionally, £480 home-based allowance
Location:
Homebased with occasional travel to London Head Office paid by Family Action
Hours:
30 hours per week (Part-time)

Family Action is a national charity that supports people through change, challenge and crisis across England and Wales. Our adoption support agency, PAC-UK, which became part of Family Action in 2018, provides specialist support to all parties affected by adoption and other permanency arrangements.
Following the successful extension of funding for the Family Connect service, Family Action is investing in the development of a new Family Connect website to deliver a more accessible, user-centered and sustainable digital experience.
Family Connect provides information, resources and support for adopted adults, care-experienced adults, birth parents, relatives affected by adoption and the professionals who work alongside them:
Main Responsibilities:- Planning phase to inform the brief, project objectives and KPIs
- Discovery with stakeholders to develop information architecture, taxonomy and user journeys
- Working with the agency on the design & build phases of the website development
- Conducting a content review process to update and refresh existing content and plan new content
- Thorough testing & launch planning
- Experience in managing websites and website builds in complex organisations
- Project management experience, strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
- An understanding of website technical requirements
- An understanding of the latest accessibility standards
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders of different seniority levels
- Ability to work with service users and subject matter experts to create relevant and accessible content
- Sensitivity to the subject matter and the complex, life-changing experiences service users may have had throughout their adoption journey
