At 2 Hour Learning, we have developed a system in which students learn twice as quickly in only two hours per day. AI-powered tutoring, mastery-driven progression, and a fundamental break from traditional classroom models produce these results. The outcomes are strong.

We now seek a leader capable of aligning execution across varied school environments, elevating academic leadership standards, and serving as the public advocate for a movement rooted in rigorous learning science.

This is not a role focused on academic theory. It is a leadership charge. You will own the academic strategy in action, establish clear performance standards, surface execution weaknesses, and develop high-performing teams to achieve measurable outcomes. You will transform our scientific principles into operational rigor and advocate for this model on a global stage.

• Designing academic frameworks that convert learning science into actionable direction for curriculum development, motivational systems, and application design.
• Conducting academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to confirm that school teams remain aligned, accountable, and performance-driven.
• Integrating data, stakeholder interviews, and direct observation into comprehensive academic ecosystem assessments that identify the most significant barriers to accelerated learning and recommend concrete interventions.
• Ensuring strategic coherence through planning cycles, feedback mechanisms, and milestone oversight to sustain focus on student learning objectives.
• Serving as the principal representative of 2 Hour Learning in high-profile settings—from keynote addresses to meetings with Ministries of Education—shaping how education systems globally understand schooling.

• Engaging in fragmented curriculum initiatives that fail to generate systemic impact.
• Producing theoretical research disconnected from student outcomes or implementation.
• Transferring accountability for performance to middle management or external advisors.
• Depending on institutional prestige or abstract models to convince critical audiences.

Expand and strengthen 2 Hour Learning's validated academic model by standardizing execution across school sites, raising leadership expectations, and establishing yourself as the authoritative voice of a movement founded on rigorous science and demonstrated impact.

• Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field
• At least 7 years in academic or EdTech leadership roles, leading a team of staff/employees (not an informal peer leader role, such as grade-level lead); you must have been responsible for hiring, monitoring performance, coaching, and making termination decisions
• Experience driving learning outcomes for students and upholding student performance standards
• Experience applying AI or emerging technologies to improve education, such as through personalized learning, adaptive learning, AI agents, etc.
• Experience managing academic teams of 50+ people (e.g., the teams you managed directly executed curriculum, instruction, or assessment)
• Experience interacting directly with students, teachers, or school leaders in a professional setting

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
