Lead Tutor Assessor (Business) - Fully Remote

Contract - Full Time - 40 hours per week

The Lead Tutor will provide support to the Directors with the day-to-day supervision and problem-solving of our apprenticeship tutors who deliver apprenticeship programmes across England. They will support the training and coaching of the tutors (8-10 tutors) whilst enabling them to exceed their individual targets for KPIs, quality, and compliance, and to manage a number of Apprenticeship learners themselves (8 learners).

The role will require the successful candidate to have a good understanding of the delivery of apprenticeship standards and excellent interpersonal skills.

You will be expected to oversee and deliver Business Administration, Customer Service and Team Leading.

• Qualified assessor - CAVA , A1 or D32/33 (essential)
• Business administration qualification or equivalent (minimum Level
  3) - essential
• Ideally, a school background (worked in a school in some capacity).
• Knowledge and experience of apprenticeship programmes and projects utilising a variety of delivery standards, methodologies, and tools.
• Experience of analysing data, identifying issues and trends and interpreting results
• Line management experience (desirable).
• Ability to work with all levels, including internal and external providers and suppliers.
• Knowledge of Ofsted Inspections and ESFA Audits.

• Provide support to the delivery team, empowering tutors to meet/exceed their KPIS, ensuring they achieve operational excellence in their day-to-day role.
• Line manage Apprenticeship Tutors(8 to 10 tutors)
• To provide troubleshooting techniques to minimize risk and maintain process and achievement targets.
• Contribute to the production of the monthly business updates by providing detailed reporting on KPIS identifying trends, actions, and recommended areas for improvement in line with continuous improvement.
• Manage a caseload of 8 apprenticeship learners
• Adhere to the Education Inspection Framework and aspire to achieve Outstanding Ofsted results in all self-assessment activity, inspections.
• To work with the quality manager to ensure curriculum is delivered to a high standard and that all elements of the apprenticeship standard (including functional skills) are fit for purpose, engaging and timely.
• Work with quality and compliance functions to ensure that paperwork and progress is captured and robust for audit and inspection requirements.
• Liaise with and maintain good working relationships with all Stakeholders both internal and external and with employers as required.
• Attend monthly operations meetings
• Support the learner allocations process
• To identify and encourage the sharing of ideas and good practice.
• Offer coaching and support for new and existing staff members.
• Induct new members of the team
• Regularly review own performance against core values and competencies, with a willingness to acquire any necessary qualifications or skills pertinent to the role.
• Implement and maintain own CPD records.
• Any other duty which, from time to time, may reasonably be required to meet the needs of the business.
