Soulbury A3-8 (£49,215-£59,809) plus up to 3 SPA points (maximum salary £65,423)

Recently qualified Educational Psychologists start from Soulbury A5

About the Role - Educational Psychologist

Working with children and young people aged 0-25, you'll apply psychology across individual, group, and whole-system approaches, helping to improve outcomes and promote inclusion.

You'll work alongside children, young people, families, schools, and partner agencies, providing:

Consultation
Psychological assessments
Intervention and therapeutic support
Training
Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs)
Systemic and project work

Each school and academy has a named Educational Psychologist, allowing you to develop meaningful relationships with education settings while supporting SEND services and wider psychological practice.

Areas of Practice

The role offers a varied and rewarding caseload, including:

Consultation and statutory assessment work
Early intervention
Therapeutic approaches
Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA)
ELSA and MeLSA programmes
Video Interaction Guidance (VIG)
Public health projects
Support for vulnerable learners and the Virtual School
Service development and innovative psychology projects

About You

Applications are welcomed from:

HCPC-registered Educational Psychologists
Final-year Trainee Educational Psychologists expecting HCPC registration upon successful qualification
