NLC is hiring an experienced online instructor for its ECON 101 course, starting in September 2026. Qualified applicants will possess a Master's Degree in Economics and demonstrate excellent communication abilities. Your goal will be to enrich the online learning experience and support students from various backgrounds in grasping core economic principles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead ECON 101 online classes for diverse learners
• Foster engagement in a synchronous virtual setting
• Discuss concepts of production costs and price determination
• Collaborate with faculty for course improvement
• Encourage and support student achievement
Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Economics mandatory
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Passion for student motivation and success
• Previous teaching experience at post-secondary level preferred
• Familiarity with LMS and diverse instructional methods is beneficial
