At the Ontario Disability Employment Network, the Disability Awareness Trainer engages with employers to promote the benefits of hiring people with disabilities. You will develop training and consulting services aimed at increasing employer awareness and improving job opportunities in the workforce. Collaborate with a dynamic team committed to removing barriers in employment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver tailored training programs for businesses
• Conduct presentations highlighting the business case for inclusivity
• Create marketing tools to facilitate training participation
• Offer consulting on recruitment, onboarding, and accommodations
• Engage employment service providers through outreach initiatives
Requirements:
• Expertise in disability-related training or consulting
• High-level proficiency in MS Office 365
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt curriculum for various audiences
• Availability for travel and flexible working hours
