Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Operations & Support Manager – Suisse Romande (50 )

Location: Geneva (Plainpalais) – On-site |
Part-time 50% (about 20 h/week, spread over 5 days; at least 4 half days at the office, 1 half day home office possible) |
Start: September / October 2026, with a handover |
Salary: CHF 24.6/hour, plus free access to SPC courses and workshops.

Swiss Photo Club is Switzerland's largest photography school, with courses, workshops, a photo studio and the SPC Photo Awards across the country. We're looking for an organised, hands-on person to run our day-to-day operations in Suisse Romande.

You'll report directly to the founder and be the person who makes things happen in Geneva: keeping our courses on schedule, our students and instructors well looked after, our studio running, and our Photo Awards exhibitions on the walls.

What you'll do
  • Plan photography courses and workshops across Suisse Romande and keep schedules and instructor assignments up to date
  • Handle customer support by phone, email and chat, mainly in French, sometimes in English
  • Manage our Geneva office & studio in Plainpalais: studio rentals, keys, supplies, keeping the space ready
  • Organise and manage SPC Photo Awards exhibitions in Suisse Romande (venues, printing, logistics, opening events)
  • Translate marketing materials, newsletters and website content from English to French
  • Enter instructor invoices into our accounting system
  • Spot what's not working and fix it — you'll have real ownership of how things run in the region
Who we're looking for
  • Based in Geneva or nearby, able to work on-site at least 4 days a week (short days)
  • Fluent in French, written and spoken; able to understand and hold a conversation in English (our internal team language)
  • Swiss citizen or holder of a valid B or C permit
  • Well organised, reliable and detail-oriented; comfortable juggling several small tasks a day
  • Independent and proactive — you don't wait to be told what to do
  • Comfortable with tools like Google Sheets, Slack, online admin systems; you learn new tools fast
  • Photography knowledge is a plus, not a requirement — but you should enjoy the world of photography and creative people
What we offer
  • A real, varied role in a small and fast-growing creative company, working directly with the founder
  • 50% part-time over 5 half days, with 1 half-day home office possible
  • Free access to SPC courses and workshops, laptop provided.
