Job OverviewThe Museum Educator will design and deliver innovative educational programs, lead interactive tours, and collaborate with schools and community organizations to enhance public understanding of cultural heritage. This role is ideal for a passionate educator committed to making history and science accessible to diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational curricula aligned with national school standards.
- Conduct guided tours, workshops, and hands‑on activities for visitors of all ages.
- Collaborate with schools to create tailored learning experiences and outreach programs.
- Curate and maintain educational resources, including digital content and exhibit materials.
- Participate in community events to promote museum initiatives and cultural awareness.
- Proven experience in museum education, curriculum development, or public engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse audiences.
- Creative problem‑solving abilities to design interactive learning experiences.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for educational content creation.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Museum Studies, History, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification in Museum Education is a distinct advantage.
ExperienceMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in museum education, public programming, or educational outreach. Experience working with schools and community organizations is highly desirable.
SalaryThis position offers a competitive salary ranging from 32,000 to 45,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
