This role involves working directly with indigenous communities to record, analyze, and digitize linguistic data. The specialist will collaborate with local elders, educators, and cultural leaders to develop preservation strategies that align with UNESCO guidelines. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct fieldwork to document indigenous languages, including phonetics, grammar, and vocabulary.
  • Develop digital archives and interactive tools for language preservation.
