Educational Consultant - Curriculum Design

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Educational Consultant with expertise in curriculum design to join their team on a contract basis. This fully remote role involves partnering with educational institutions to analyze existing curricula, identify areas for improvement, and develop innovative, results-driven educational programs. You will leverage your deep understanding of pedagogical principles, learning standards, and instructional design to create effective and engaging curricula that meet the specific needs of diverse student populations and learning objectives, providing expert guidance and strategic solutions to enhance educational outcomes.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing educational curricula and instructional strategies.
• Design and develop new curricula frameworks, learning objectives, and content outlines aligned with educational standards and best practices.
• Provide expert recommendations for pedagogical approaches, assessment methods, and technology integration.
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and stakeholders to ensure buy-in and successful implementation of curriculum changes.
• Develop training materials and facilitate workshops for educators on new curriculum implementation and effective teaching methodologies.
• Stay current with educational research, trends, and policy changes impacting curriculum development.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational consulting.
• Demonstrated success in designing and implementing effective curricula across various educational levels.
• Strong knowledge of learning theories, assessment design, and pedagogical best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
