About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and innovative Virtual Instructional Designer to join their forward-thinking team. This position is entirely remote, providing a flexible and global work environment. You will be responsible for creating engaging and effective learning experiences through the design and development of high-quality instructional materials for various online courses and training programs. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging educational theory and technology to craft impactful learning solutions that meet diverse learner needs and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop engaging and effective online courses and training modules using adult learning principles and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
- Create a variety of instructional materials, including e-learning courses, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, assessments, and job aids.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content, validate accuracy, and ensure alignment with learning objectives.
- Utilize e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and multimedia software to produce interactive content.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions through various feedback mechanisms and performance data.
- Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Proven experience as an Instructional Designer , with a strong portfolio showcasing online learning solutions.
- Proficiency with industry-standard e-learning authoring tools and multimedia development software.
- Solid understanding of instructional design theories, adult learning principles, and learning technologies.
- Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote team environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, or a related field.
