About the Role
Our client is looking for a dynamic and engaging Early Years Educator to join their team in Centurion . This position involves delivering high-quality early childhood education programs, with a blend of on-site interaction and remote support for families. You will be instrumental in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment, focusing on the holistic development of young children. The role demands creativity, flexibility, and a passion for early learning, contributing to a center that values both traditional educational methods and innovative remote engagement strategies to support families in their learning journeys.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for children aged 3-5.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration, incorporating both indoor and outdoor play.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and maintain detailed records, communicating effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns.
- Deliver online educational content and support sessions for parents and children remotely, supplementing classroom activities.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to foster a positive and professional team environment, participating in staff meetings and professional development initiatives.
- Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of early learning frameworks and methodologies.
- Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for remote communication and educational delivery.
