About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and skilled Digital Learning Designer to revolutionize higher education learning experiences. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work from anywhere while contributing to innovative online courses. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing engaging digital learning content, leveraging multimedia and interactive technologies. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of adult learning principles and a passion for creating effective and accessible online educational materials, serving students across the nation and enhancing the institution's digital learning capabilities.

• Design and develop engaging online courses and digital learning materials using a variety of authoring tools and platforms.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex academic content into accessible and interactive online modules.
• Integrate multimedia elements, including video, audio, animations, and interactive simulations, to enhance learning.
• Apply principles of instructional design, adult learning theory, and user experience (UX) to create effective learning pathways.
• Ensure all digital learning content is accessible, inclusive, and meets WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of digital learning solutions and recommend improvements based on data and feedback.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in designing and developing digital learning content, preferably in higher education.
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
• Strong understanding of learning management systems (LMS) and online course delivery strategies.
• Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills for remote work.
• Portfolio showcasing diverse digital learning design projects is highly recommended.
