Take on a term role as a Certified Teacher for English 40S at MITT, starting September 8, 2026. This online teaching position offers flexibility and an opportunity to shape learners' futures.
MITT seeks a Certified Teacher for English 40S - Transactional to begin on September 8, 2026, subject to funding and enrollment figures. Candidates must hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate and preferred background in teaching Grade 11/12 English. Strong candidates will have experience in blended learning and using the Brightspace platform.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct English 40S classes focusing on transactional writing skills
• Leverage digital tools to enhance online lessons
• Monitor and evaluate student performance and engagement
• Collaborate with colleagues for best teaching practices
• Create an inclusive online environment for all students
Requirements:
• Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate required
• Experience with Grade 11/12 English teaching preferred
• Familiarity with blended learning methodologies a plus
• Proficient with Brightspace Learning Management System
• Required to pass a Criminal Record check
