Certified Education Assistant at ASCEND Online

ASCEND Online is hiring a part-time Certified Education Assistant located in Surrey, BC, for their blended learning program. Engage directly with K-7 students and contribute to their individual learning journeys.

The role is n Paul II Academy for the  school year, requiring 12 hours of work each week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. As a CEA, you will provide essential classroom support, assisting the teacher in daily activities and fostering an environment where Catholic teachings are interwoven into education. Candidates with strong links to their faith will find a welcoming environment here.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the classroom teacher in daily educational activities

• Provide individual assistance to students that require extra help

• Facilitate group learning and participation in class

• Help integrate Catholic values in daily lessons

• Work collaboratively with the educational support team

Requirements:

• Qualification as a Certified Education Assistant

• Available for shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9am-2pm

• Experience with students from Kindergarten to Grade Seven

• Strong commitment to Catholic teachings

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
