Plumbing Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a Plumbing Technician to provide sickness cover within the School of Building Services at Nantgarw Campus. The successful candidate will support the practical delivery of plumbing programmes by preparing and maintaining tools, equipment and workshop resources, ensuring safe and well‑organised learning environments, and working closely with teaching staff to help learners develop valuable practical and industry‑focused skills.

All staff employed at Coleg y Cymoedd have a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of learners, and all those working at the College are expected to uphold this commitment. As part of our safer recruitment processes, all new starters must successfully complete the required pre‑employment checks prior to commencing employment. This includes an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

For roles that involve direct interaction with learners, registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is also a mandatory requirement.
