STEM Workshop Facilitator Remote

Shape future leaders in STEM as a Workshop Facilitator with SCWIST, working remotely and in-school within Greater Vancouver. Deliver engaging workshops that ignite curiosity and confidence among elementary students.

As a part-time STEM Explore Workshop Facilitator, you will engage with young minds to promote STEM learning through hands-on activities. This role requires you to travel to schools in the Greater Vancouver Area and facilitate interactive workshops using materials and guidance provided by SCWIST. Strong communication skills and a passion for science education are essential to make concepts approachable and enjoyable for your young audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate hands-on STEM workshops in schools

• Use SCWIST lesson plans for educational delivery

• Explain STEM concepts in engaging ways

• Maintain supportive and inclusive learning environments

• Prepare and organize workshop materials for success

Requirements:

• 3+ years teaching or facilitating educational programs

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline

• Fluency in English

• Strong understanding of STEM concepts

• Reliable transportation for school travel
