This position follows a Hybrid work arrangement, offering a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. This allows our team members to enjoy a balance between structured work hours and the comfort of working from home.
As a Grade 1 professional, you will be responsible for supporting classroom activities and ensuring the safety and well-being of students. Your daily responsibilities will include managing child behaviour, assisting in play-based learning, and maintaining effective communication with parents and teachers. You will work closely with educators to implement educational programmes while supervising lunchtime activities, ensuring that children are engaged and supported throughout the school day.
The standard working hours for this role are 09:00 AM – 05:00 AM (approx. 20 hours per day) for the morning shift. This Hybrid role ensures a balanced work-life dynamic with flexible scheduling and supportive team collaboration.
Requirements- Child Behaviour Management skills to effectively support and guide students.
- Knowledge of Child Development to facilitate age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Understanding of Child Nutrition to promote healthy eating habits.
- Child Protection Certification to ensure the safety and welfare of children.
- Awareness of Child Safety practices to maintain a secure environment.
- Experience in Teaching Assistant Support to enhance educational delivery.
- Classroom Management abilities to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Effective Parent-Teacher Communication skills to foster partnerships.
- Knowledge of Play-based Learning strategies to engage young learners.
- School Lunchtime Supervision experience to ensure student safety and engagement.
- Patient attitude towards child behaviour and development.
- Empathetic approach to understanding children's needs.
- Kindness in interactions with both children and colleagues.
- Considerate nature in collaborative environments.
