Role Description

The PMP Part-Time Trainer | Remote will deliver engaging, structured training sessions on Project Management Professional (PMP) concepts to learners in online formats. This part-time role involves preparing lesson plans, slide decks, and practice questions aligned with PMP standards and Thinkcloudly’s curriculum. The trainer will explain key project management methodologies, guide learners through case studies, and support them in exam preparation, including answering questions and providing feedback on assignments.

Responsibilities include updating course materials to reflect current PM best practices, recording or conducting live sessions, and collaborating with the academic team to improve course quality. This is a remote role that requires reliable availability during scheduled training hours and a learner-centric approach to teaching.

Qualifications

Strong project management expertise, including practical experience leading projects and deep familiarity with PMI’s PMBOK Guide and PMP exam domains.
Proven training, teaching, or mentoring skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly, facilitate discussions, and adapt to diverse learner needs.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including structured verbal delivery, clear written feedback, and professional online classroom presence.
Comfort with online teaching tools and learning platforms, such as virtual meeting software, LMS systems, and digital collaboration tools.
PMP certification from PMI (or equivalent recognized project management credential) strongly preferred.
Experience designing or refining course content, practice exams, and learning activities for adult or professional learners.
Ability to commit to part-time, remote work with consistent availability, strong time management, and a self-directed working style.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Business, IT, Engineering, or Management) or equivalent professional experience in project management.
