Academic Support Specialist

Position: Academic Support Specialist: Hybrid Role
Join Robertson as an Academic Support Specialist in a hybrid part-time role. This position is essential for providing academic guidance and support to diverse learners.

As a member of the Learner Academic Support team, you’ll report to the Manager and facilitate ongoing student assistance. Responsibilities encompass attending key meetings, maintaining communication, and identifying students needing support. Additionally, you'll manage academic plans and facilitate inquiries through a structured system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in weekly meetings with Learner Review Committee

• Keep in regular contact with designated learners

• Identify at-risk students for intervention

• Oversee and assist with academic plans

• Respond to inquiries and track student feedback

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in education or business required

• 2 years of direct higher education services experience

• Strong communication and relationship management skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment

• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems preferred
