As this may be a term position, current indeterminate Government of Nunavut employees may be offered a competitive transfer assignment for the duration of the term if they are deemed to be the successful candidate, however this is subject to managerial approval. Reporting to the Manager, IQ Programs, the Instructor, Inuktitut Language Program is responsible for developing, delivering and evaluating Inuit Language courses that meet student needs and Nunavut Arctic College standards. The position supports the ongoing growth and development of the program while maintaining high-quality instructional materials and effective learning opportunities for students. The position may also be required to teach additional courses within the Inuit Languages and Culture Programs Division.
