AC4: £58,225 - £67,468 per annum

Full time: 35 hours per week

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Lecturer to join our Department of Adult Nursing and Community Health in the Faculty of Health, Education and Social Care, where teaching, research and professional practice are at the heart of our activities.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic academic, ideally a NMC registered Adult Nurse
, with a relevant postgraduate qualification and significant professional and academic experience. Other relevant professional registrations, such as HCPC or GDC, with appropriate professional experience may be considered.

You will join a dedicated team committed to inspiring our students and wider University community through innovative teaching, impactful research, scholarship and knowledge exchange. The successful candidate will provide academic leadership within Adult Nursing and Community Health
, contributing to the strategic development, delivery and enhancement of our programmes and modules.

This post requires an experienced and motivated academic with strong clinical and professional credibility to contribute to the currency and quality or our health and social care provision. The ability to lead and contribute to programme and module development, curriculum enhancement and quality improvement is integral to the post, alongside engagement in research, scholarship, consultancy, CPD and knowledge exchange.

The post holder will also contribute to academic leadership, staff development and people management
, supporting colleagues and contributing to the wider strategic priorities and ambitions of the Department and Faculty. Programme leadership responsibilities may form part of the agreed workload and activity profile.
