About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and innovative Curriculum Developer (Mathematics) to contribute to the enhancement of educational programs in Bloemfontein. This role focuses on designing, developing, and revising mathematics curricula for various educational levels, ensuring alignment with national standards and incorporating effective pedagogical approaches. You will work closely with subject matter experts and educators to create engaging and impactful learning materials.

• Design and develop comprehensive mathematics curricula, lesson plans, and assessment tools.
• Review and update existing curriculum materials to ensure relevance, accuracy, and pedagogical effectiveness.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and educators throughout the curriculum development process.
• Incorporate best practices in mathematics education, including inquiry-based learning and technology integration.
• Develop guidelines and resources for teachers to effectively implement the new curricula.
• Ensure all curriculum materials meet required educational standards and learning objectives.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics Education or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or mathematics teaching at a senior level.
• Strong understanding of national curriculum frameworks and assessment methodologies in mathematics.
• Proven ability to create engaging and effective educational content.
• Excellent research, writing, and project management skills.
