About the Role
Our client is looking for a creative and experienced Online Curriculum Developer specializing in STEM subjects to join their fully remote team. This role is crucial in designing and producing engaging, interactive digital learning materials for secondary students across various online platforms. You will be instrumental in translating complex STEM concepts into accessible, high-quality e-learning modules, ensuring pedagogical soundness and adherence to learning objectives.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and multimedia specialists to create cutting-edge educational content that meets the needs of a diverse online student population, driving innovation in digital education from anywhere.
- Design and develop engaging online curriculum modules for STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
- Create multimedia-rich learning content, including interactive exercises, videos, simulations, and assessments.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and pedagogical effectiveness.
- Incorporate best practices in instructional design and e-learning for optimal student engagement and retention.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables for curriculum development projects in a remote setting.
- Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a relevant STEM field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in online curriculum design and development, preferably in STEM.
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and online pedagogy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
