About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Youth Outreach Coordinator to spearhead vital youth engagement programs remotely. This position is based in Cape Town , allowing you to connect with and support young people across the region through innovative digital strategies and virtual programming. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating outreach initiatives aimed at empowering youth, connecting them with educational and developmental opportunities, and providing guidance.

• Develop and execute creative, remote-based outreach strategies to engage diverse youth populations.
• Organize and facilitate virtual workshops, mentorship sessions, and skills development programs for young people.
• Build and maintain relationships with youth, community leaders, and educational institutions through digital channels.
• Create engaging online content, including social media posts and informational materials, to promote youth services.
• Track and report on the effectiveness of outreach programs, gathering feedback to inform future initiatives.
• Provide guidance and support to young individuals, connecting them with appropriate resources and opportunities within the Cape Town area.

• Previous experience in youth work, community engagement, or program coordination, preferably in a remote setting.
• Demonstrated ability to connect with and motivate young people through virtual platforms.
• Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing youth in Cape Town .
• Excellent digital literacy, including social media management and virtual meeting platform proficiency.
• A degree or relevant certification in social sciences, education, or a related field is advantageous.
• Exceptional organizational and planning skills for managing multiple virtual projects.
