About the Role
Our client seeks a highly experienced and vigilant Air Traffic Controller to join their advanced training and simulation department. This role plays a critical part in developing and delivering realistic training scenarios for future air traffic controllers, operating within a hybrid work model. You will utilize sophisticated simulation software to create and manage complex air traffic environments, ensuring trainees receive the most effective and comprehensive instruction.
Your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining the highest safety standards in aviation by training the next generation of controllers. This position requires a deep understanding of air traffic control procedures and the ability to translate real-world scenarios into effective simulated training experiences.
- Develop, implement, and manage realistic air traffic control simulation scenarios.
- Provide expert instruction and feedback to trainees during simulation sessions.
- Monitor and evaluate trainee performance against established air traffic control competency standards.
- Maintain and update simulation software and associated databases with current procedures and airspace data.
- Collaborate with training specialists to refine curriculum and simulation exercises.
- Ensure the highest standards of safety and operational realism are maintained throughout training.
- Current or recent Air Traffic Controller certification (e.g., ATCO license).
- Proven experience in operational air traffic control environments.
- Familiarity with air traffic control simulation systems and technologies.
