Early Learning Specialist

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Early Learning Specialist to provide consulting services and program development support for childcare initiatives in and around Soweto. This hybrid role will involve on-site assessments and collaboration, as well as remote work for analysis, strategy development, and reporting. You will be responsible for evaluating existing early learning programs, recommending improvements, and assisting in the implementation of new pedagogical approaches.

The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of early childhood education best practices and a proven track record in program development and consultation.

• Conduct assessments of early learning environments and pedagogical practices.
• Develop strategic recommendations for improving curriculum, teaching methods, and child engagement.
• Provide expert consultation and training to childcare providers and educators.
• Assist in the design and implementation of new early learning programs.
• Prepare comprehensive reports outlining findings, recommendations, and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful program integration and outcomes.

• Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in early childhood education program development and leadership.
• Expertise in current early learning theories, curriculum frameworks, and assessment tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and report writing abilities.
• Experience with hybrid or remote consultation models is beneficial.
