The Role
Leadership and Management Trainer
Location: Home Based – primarily virtual delivery, with regular travel to QA centres and client sites as required.

Your RoleAs an expert in leadership and professional skills, you will deliver QA and partner-accredited, innovative, high‑quality training across topics such as Equality & Diversity, Neurodiversity, personal impact, communication, coaching and mentoring, problem solving and decision making, leading change and stakeholder management. You’ll maintain strong satisfaction scores, contribute as a subject matter expert, and collaborate across teams to support shared goals and continuous improvement.
Alongside programme delivery, you’ll be responsible for designing and developing new courses and contributing expert insight to ensure our portfolio remains impactful and aligned to client needs.
- Training Delivery:
Deliver engaging, high‑quality leadership and business training (virtual and in‑person) that meets QA standards and regulatory requirements. - Learning Design:
Create impactful, learner‑centred course materials aligned to client needs and designed to drive real workplace performance. - Quality & Performance:
Consistently achieve strong satisfaction scores, meet observation standards, and use coaching and feedback to continuously improve. - Subject Matter Expertise:
Bring expertise across leadership and professional skills topics, contributing to programme design and supporting colleagues and clients. - Communication &
Collaboration:
Work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure exceptional training delivery and learner experiences. - Team Contribution:
Support team goals with accountability, reliability and flexibility to meet changing priorities. - Continuous Development:
Maintain relevant professional accreditations and stay current with emerging trends in leadership development.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching and presentation skills to deliver complex behavioural concepts in an interactive, practice‑rich way, virtually and in person, to diverse audiences (from early‑career professionals to senior leaders).
- Proven ability to design and develop engaging leadership & professional skills learning experiences (workshops, modular programmes, action learning, masterclasses) aligned to client outcomes and multiple delivery formats.
- Skilled at translating organisational challenges (e.g., leading change, influencing stakeholders, communication across technical/non‑technical groups) into structured, outcome‑focused learning with measurable on‑the‑job impact.
- Experience applying instructional design principles and adult learning theory to create highly interactive, application‑focused materials and resources.
- Comfortable delivering across key topics such as Equality & Diversity, Neurodiversity, communication & impact, coaching & mentoring, influencing & stakeholder management, problem solving & decision making, time management & personal effectiveness, resilience, leading change, team building (e.g., SDI), and briefing skills
. - Passion for learning, leadership development and enabling performance through skills application in role.
- Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to build credibility quickly with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Recognised leadership/learning credentials such as ILM (e.g., L5–L7),
CIPD (L&D), or EMCC/ICF coaching accreditation; certification to administer relevant psychometric tools (e.g., SDI/Insights/DiSC/MBTI) where appropriate. - Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field (e.g., Organisational Psychology, HRD,…
