Program Coordinator - Education & Skills

Our client, an NGO focused on enhancing educational opportunities and vocational skills for unemployed youth, is seeking a dynamic Program Coordinator based in Mahikeng , with a flexible remote work arrangement. This role is responsible for the day-to-day implementation and management of educational and skills development programs. You will work closely with participants, trainers, and partner institutions to ensure program quality, accessibility, and effectiveness.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and possesses a passion for empowering young people through learning and skills acquisition, with a strong understanding of the educational and employment landscape in the North West province.

• Coordinate the delivery of educational and skills development workshops and training sessions.
• Manage participant enrollment, attendance, and progress tracking.
• Liaise with trainers, educators, and external service providers to ensure program quality.
• Organize and facilitate program-related events, orientations, and graduation ceremonies.
• Maintain program records, compile reports, and assist in program evaluation.
• Provide support and guidance to participants throughout their program journey.

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Sciences, Community Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in program coordination or management, particularly in education or skills development.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and reporting abilities.
• Experience working with youth or young adults is essential.
• Familiarity with the educational and employment challenges in the Mahikeng region is advantageous.
