Online Curriculum Developer - STEM Focus

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Online Curriculum Developer with a strong focus on STEM subjects to join their dynamic, remote team on a contract basis. This role involves designing, developing, and refining engaging and effective online learning materials for a range of STEM disciplines. You will be responsible for creating lesson plans, interactive modules, assessments, and multimedia content that caters to diverse online learners.

• Design and develop comprehensive online curriculum for STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) for various educational levels.
• Create engaging learning content, including interactive modules, video scripts, presentations, assessments, and instructional materials.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and multimedia specialists to ensure content accuracy, pedagogical soundness, and high quality.
• Incorporate best practices in online learning, instructional design principles, and adult learning theories into curriculum development.
• Ensure all developed content aligns with learning objectives, industry standards, and platform requirements, maintaining a focus on learner engagement and outcomes.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or a relevant STEM field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in developing online curriculum and instructional materials, with a strong portfolio showcasing STEM content.
• In-depth knowledge of online learning platforms (LMS), instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and multimedia development tools.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and clarity.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
