Online Mathematics Tutor; Grade 7-12

Our client, a leading online education platform dedicated to providing personalized academic support, is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Online Mathematics Tutors for grades 7-12. This fully remote position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to empower students and foster their understanding of mathematics from the comfort of your own home. You will provide one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions, tailored to meet individual student needs and learning styles.

• Conduct engaging and effective online tutoring sessions in Mathematics for students in grades 7-12.

• Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students build confidence and improve their skills.
• Adapt teaching methods and approaches to cater to diverse learning styles and paces.
• Prepare students for tests, exams, and other academic assessments.
• Track student progress and communicate effectively with students and/or parents regarding performance.
• Maintain a positive, supportive, and professional online learning environment.
• Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and best practices in mathematics education.

• A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• A teaching qualification is a strong asset.
• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Mathematics, preferably at the high school level (grades 7-12).
• Excellent knowledge of mathematics curriculum content for the specified grade levels.
• Strong ability to explain mathematical concepts in a clear, understandable manner.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Proficiency in using online collaboration tools, video conferencing software, and digital whiteboards.
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
• Experience with standardized test preparation is a plus.
