Online Tutor - STEM Subjects

Our client, a dynamic online learning platform dedicated to providing high-quality education, is seeking passionate and knowledgeable Online Tutors - STEM Subjects to join their growing team. This is a fully remote, part-time position perfect for educators, recent graduates, or subject matter experts looking to share their expertise. You will be responsible for providing one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions to students across various levels, helping them understand complex concepts in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

The ideal candidate has a strong academic background in a STEM field, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping students succeed in an online learning environment.

• Conduct engaging and effective online tutoring sessions for students in STEM subjects.
• Explain complex concepts clearly and provide support tailored to individual student needs.
• Assist students with homework, assignments, and exam preparation.
• Assess student understanding and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and feedback.
• Communicate regularly with students and parents (if applicable) regarding progress and areas for improvement.
• Develop supplementary learning materials as needed.
• Adhere to the platform's policies and procedures for online tutoring.
• Stay current with curriculum standards and best practices in online education.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Engineering).
• Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring, preferably online.
• Excellent knowledge of subject matter across various STEM disciplines.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with online collaboration tools and virtual learning platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.
• Patient, encouraging, and dedicated to student success.
• A genuine passion for teaching and making STEM subjects accessible.
• Previous experience with online learning management systems is a plus.
