Online Curriculum Developer - STEM Focus

Our client, a pioneering online education platform, is actively seeking a talented and innovative Online Curriculum Developer with a strong specialization in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects. The focus is on creating asynchronous learning content that students can access at their own pace.

• Design and develop comprehensive online STEM curricula, including lesson plans, interactive modules, assessments, and multimedia content.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy, pedagogical soundness, and alignment with learning objectives.
• Create engaging and visually appealing learning materials using various authoring tools and digital technologies.
• Develop robust assessment strategies to measure student learning outcomes effectively.
• Ensure all developed content is accessible, inclusive, and adheres to high-quality standards for online learning.
• Research and incorporate the latest trends and best practices in instructional design and online education.
• Manage multiple curriculum development projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
• Pilot and iterate on curriculum materials based on feedback from instructors and learners.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the online learning platform and its content library.
• Maintain detailed documentation for all curriculum development processes and materials.

• A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (e.g., Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or Education.
• A Master's degree in Instructional Design or a related field is highly preferred.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in curriculum development, specifically for online or e-learning environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing STEM-related educational content for K-12 or higher education levels.
• Proficiency with instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning theories.
• Experience using e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS).
• Strong understanding of multimedia development and digital content creation.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate remotely with diverse teams.
• A portfolio showcasing previous online curriculum development projects is required.
• Must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup suitable for remote work.
