Cohort Director

Hours Flexible hours. We ask for a minimum of around 15 hours of availability per week.

• Organize onboarding for each group of fellows (students in the program).
• Arrange mentor schedules and keep the program on track for key deadlines.
• Track fellow progress and follow up when someone needs help or falls behind.
• Keep fellows, families, and mentors informed about schedules and next steps.
• Resolve problems with scheduling and support. Refer concerns to staff when they need to act.
• Review feedback and improve the way each cohort runs.

• Experience managing operations or organizing a program, community, or team with regular deadlines.
• Evidence of your interest in teaching or education, such as tutoring, mentoring, volunteering, or an education project.
• Power user of either or .
• Currently enrolled at or graduated from a top 20 university (e.g., Princeton, Harvard, MIT, Yale, Stanford).

• Help mentors keep their schedules up to date and attend booked sessions.
• Use Lumos channels that staff can see when you communicate with fellows.
• Review recorded sessions and fellow feedback to check the support mentors provide.
• Help mentors guide fellows as they make their own decisions about their work.
• Be patient, communicate clearly, and use good judgment when working with young people.
• Include a short introduction and your resume or profile.
• Describe your experience managing operations. Give an example of a problem you solved.
• Share an example that shows your interest in teaching or education.
• Share your time zone and the hours you can work each week.
