Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to provide virtual instruction and support to K-12 students across Virginia. This fully remote opportunity allows educators to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.

As a Remote Special Education Teacher, you will collaborate with school teams, families, and other educational professionals to deliver individualized instruction and support services that help students achieve academic success. The ideal candidate is organized, student-focused, and experienced in developing and implementing IEPs in a virtual learning environment.

• Provide virtual special education instruction to assigned students.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district requirements.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Utilize virtual platforms and educational technology to engage students and support learning outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with all Virginia state and district guidelines.

• Active Virginia Special Education Teaching License.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Previous school-based experience preferred.
• Experience with virtual instruction is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
