English German Teacher

This is a full-time hybrid role for an English German Teacher based in Istanbul, with a combination of on-campus teaching and some work-from-home responsibilities. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons in both English and German, aligned with Enderun’s academic standards and learning outcomes. Daily tasks include preparing instructional materials, assessing student performance, providing individualized feedback, and maintaining accurate records of progress.

The role involves tutoring and academic support outside regular class hours, collaborating with faculty on curriculum development, and participating in training sessions, meetings, and school events. The teacher is expected to foster an inclusive, student-centered learning environment that supports language proficiency and intercultural competence.

• Demonstrated expertise in German Teaching and English instruction, with the ability to teach multiple proficiency levels.
• Strong Teaching and Education skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, and learner-centered methodologies.
• Experience in Tutoring and Training, providing individualized support and facilitating small-group learning activities.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German, both oral and written.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Education, Languages, Linguistics, or a related field; relevant teaching certifications are an advantage.
• Experience teaching in higher education or language schools, preferably in an international or multicultural setting.
• Ability to use digital tools and learning platforms to support hybrid teaching and student engagement.
